SUBJECT: New Loss-Prevention System
As you may have heard, weve been receiving news from corporate headquarters that it would be in
the best interest of our company to pay more attention to safety in the workplace. All employees
need to be mindful, so that they remain efficient in preventing accidents.
Proper training is the key to workplace safety. The training vehicle that our company has supplied
you with is a sufficient source of proper training. Additionally, We have asked the training
coordinator, Kendra Jones, to assemble a written training program that will involve all employees,
which will be put into use this June. When the plan has been written and approved, we will conduct
a meeting explaining the details.
Its our pleasure to announce that starting in July, we will be giving a monthly safety award of $100
to the employee who comes up with the best work-safety suggestions. Attached to the memo is a
form for suggestions that can be placed in the suggestion box. On the last day of each month, the
winner will be announced and have his or her name placed on the bulletin board.
If you have any suggestions in regard to the corporate safety program, please dont hesitate to leave
a comment in the suggestion box or make a phone call.
