Dear Sir,
With regard to land acquisition for the Depot, the current non-appropriated land
was supposed and set by MRB to be handed over to the Contractor(s) on 30 th
April 2014 during the CP04-weekly meeting held on 27 th March 2014. However, it
is not clear about the roles and responsibilities of the parties for certain site
works, which are prerequisite requirements for the Depot site prior to being ready
for building upon.
Therefore, PIC would like to consult the MRB for those site works, in particular:
-

Demolishing work: Which party will be responsible for demolishing work?

And shall this work be implemented before or after 30 th April, 2014?

Backfilling work: Similar to demolishing work, which party will take care of
this item? And what is scheduled date for this?

Handingover procedure: Shall the remaining non-appropriated site be fully

handed over? And which parties would involve in the handing over
process?

Since those items could affect costs and schedule, MRB is kindly requested to
give advice as soon as possible to keep all parties well prepared. Apart from that,
it is also recommened that MRB keep PIC (and the Contractors) informed about
land acquisition progress in order for all parties to have prompt actions.
Your advices will be highly appreciated. PIC remains at your disposal should you
have any question.
