    Meridian Summer Book Club


    Project Objective:
    To invite more participation and knowledge of the Rebecca Caudill
    Reading Challenge. I want to encourage teachers to embrace the
    program already in place and increase staff input about the reading list.

    Collaborative Actions:
    Held an information session at the end of the school year.
    o 23 staff members attended
    o Gave a book talk on each book off the RC list
    o Created an evaluation document
    Met with Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning
    o Teachers receive Summer Academy credit
    Sent out 2-3 emails to confirm participation & remind teachers of meeting
    date
    Coordinated borrowing books from library & teachers
    Lead meeting in the summer
    o Teachers shared out on
    multiple topics
    Compiled a spreadsheet of all
    information to be passed out at
    the beginning of the year.
