Schedule of Fees

(Version 2.0, 19.07.2013)

Schedule of Fees for the ENplus certification with the

European Pellet Council (EPC)
valid as of 01.05.2013
The schedule of fees covers exclusively the services of the European Pellet Council.
In addition, there will be costs for the services of certification, inspection and testing
bodies that have to be settled directly with the respective body.
The license fee is based on the amount of all A1 and A2 pellets (loose pellets and
bagged pellets) produced or traded regardless whether they are sold as ENplus
pellets or not. Pellets sold to power plants or for animal bedding are excluded from
license payments under this scheme. The excluded amount is subject to approval by
the EPC.

The license fee is 15 Ct () per ton of pellets fulfilling the requirements of the
quality classes ENplus-A1 or ENplus-A2.

Note:

The costs of trader inspection are not included in the license fees. They have
to be settled with the certification body. The costs may depend on the number
of vehicles and storage locations to be inspected.

Traders with bagging facilities have to make a contract with an inspection body
for annual inspection because bagging is regarded as part of the pellet
production process. The inspection costs have to be settled directly with the
inspection body

Traders only have to pay fees for bagged pellets labeled with their own
ENplus-ID.
