Thank you for your interest in Camp Rock and Roll! We are delighted that you are
considering us for your daughters summer camp. We are a performing arts camp
geared towards music and theater. All courses and activities are tailored towards the
two age groups we work with: middle school and high school students. We hope that
this is something your daughter might be interested in!
Camp Rock and Roll is a six week camp where your child can study either music or
theater. The music program encompasses both voice instruction and instrumental
instruction. These students will learn about different composers and their contributions
to music and some music history. They will also work on pieces that will be performed at
the final showcase. The theater program encompasses both performance and technical
theater. Each student will participate in acting intensives and technical theater classes.
These students will also learn a little theater history. They will also work on a show that
will be showcased at the end of camp. These programs and classes are designed to
provide additional instruction in the arts that are slowly being cut from our school
systems. We at Camp Rock and Roll believe that these programs help our students
succeed and provide a way for them to be creative and expressive!
We at Camp Rock and Roll sincerely hope that the music or theater program interests
your daughter for the summer! Participation in one of these programs will provide some
tools that will allow your daughter to be expressive and creative, along with applying
