We suggest following approach
1) Operational knowledge -He needs to understand the process and structure.He
can do so by interacting with different managers and department heads during his
first initial days
2) Understanding the problems-After having discussions with the managers, he
needs to zero down on the problems that the plant is facing. He needs to leverage
his analytical abilities and suggest improvements
3)Getting people to implement the solutions-He should leverage his peoples
skills and communicate to everybody, their roles and responsibilities
