Congratulations! You have been selected as a 2015 Cedar Falls RAGBRAI Vendor. We are thrilled to have
you on board for this years event on Wednesday, July 22.
Vendor Meeting: A mandatory meeting is scheduled for 6pm on June 30, 2015 at Cedar Falls SCHEELS 402 Viking Plaza Drive, Cedar Falls, IA 50613. In this meeting, we will discuss policies, procedures,
expectations and further details regarding RAGBRAI.
Fees: Enclosed is an invoice for the remainder of the balance due. Payment is required by July 1, 2015.
Location: All vending will take place on UNIs campus located directly west of the McLeod Center &
UNI-Dome in the parking lot.
Pricing: It is up to you to set your own prices. Our committee would be happy to assist you in making
recommendations on prices. The RAGBRAI officials recommend that a cheaper price be charged to
RAGBRAI participants with a wristband.
Time: Set-up must be completed by 10am on July 22, 2015. Vending can begin following approval from
the Black Hawk County Health Department. Failure to abide by these standards will result in immediate
tear-down. Food will be served until 11pm. If interested, breakfast vending begins at 4:30am and runs
until 9am on Thursday, July 23.
Food Safety: A Temporary Food Service Establishment License Application will need to be completed and
sent to the following address: Black Hawk County Health Department - 1407 Independence Avenue 5th
Floor, Waterloo, IA 50703.
Forms can be found on Black Hawk County Health Department website. There is a $33.50 fee associated
with this application and forms are due by July 1, 2015.
Proof of Liability: All vendors must submit proof of liability insurance of $1,000,000 aggregate to be
completed no later than July 1, 2015.
Iowa Temporary Retail Sales Tax Permit: On June 30, you will receive an Iowa Department of Revenue
form to complete and return by August 7, 2015.
