Marching from strength to strength, Delhi College of Engineering, DCE is now the "Delhi
Technological University" DTU. The upgradation of DCE into a technical university provides the
necessary academic and administration autonomy to empower DCE to march on the path of
academic and research excellence, as also to accelerate the pace of innovations. DTU, with the brand
image of DCE and its glorious past, thus is poised to create new horizons in the arena of technical
education and research in the country. The institute is well known in and outside India and has
earned itself a place of pride amongst the TOP-TEN ENGINEERING INSTITUTIONS of the country. Its
Alumni has served almost all sectors of business, industry, the corporate world, academia, defence
services and civil services, with high dedication and result oriented performance.
DTU enjoys a cordial and professional relationship with your esteemed organization
by way of mutually beneficial professional contributions. From the very beginning, DCE, now
DTU lays greater emphasis on in situ industrial training. Practical Training for B.E. students is
an integral part of the curriculum and is in-built into the programs of study. Accordingly, the
students have to undergo the following training programs :
4 weeks (First Week of December to First Week of January) during Winter Vacations,
after fifth semester, for all branches of engineering.
8 weeks (First week of June to Last Week of July) during Summer Vacations, after sixth

semester, for all branches of engineering and after second semester of MBA.
In continuation with this tradition, DTU has enjoyed the privilege of having its budding
engineers trained by your esteemed organization.
