ISSUES AND CONCERNS 1. Re visited PHC, Pangasinan campus, dated 16 17 June 2014 - Courtesy call to Business Unit Head, Dr. Rowel Crisostomo - physical survey and re-assesment of post in the entire PHC Pangasinan campus and other subdiaries. - Meeting w/ officer and personnel of Security Department, PHC Pangasinan campus - During the meeting different issues were raised, as follows. a. 5 security personnel of this unit were not given mandatory institutional increase amounting to P 768.00 per month. b. the effectivity of mandatory institutional increase is on June 2013 and was given to security personnel by batches, the first batch was last October 2013, May 2014 as second batch and the third batched was only this June 2014, and no retroactive was given to them, both the basic pay and overtime pay. And other personnel were given increase lower to the specified amount. c. Re- alignment of post of Security personnel, and after a thorough assessment and deliberations, we concluded that three (3) personnel were excess, and out of 19 personnel we maximized it to 16, we brought this matter to Dr. Rowel Crisostomo, and we submitted to him our recommendations, that the three (3) excess personnel will be used and distributed accordingly, as follows; one as replacement of Mr. Cezar Nevado, the next one will serve as replacement of Mr. Samuel Caragan who is retiring this coming September 2014 and the last one will serve as reliever for VL/SL of 16 personnel. d. No Security office, since the existence of PHC Pangasinan Unit, No security office had been assign nor given to them. OTHER CONCERNS Salary standardization among security personnel assigned in JONELTA Group of Companies, Manila rates shall be applied to those personnel assigned in areas covered by Manila. HR and Business Unit Heads should entertain Cases/ Infractions committed by Security personnel in their respective area.
