Theorizing Architecture

Rem Koolhaas
Dutch architect and architectural theorist. His projects are viewed as visionary
by most. They are also unusual and frequently constructed using inexpensive,
everyday materials. His biggest influence is Frank Llyod Wright.

Theory on Architecture
It is on the edge of periphery that we should observe how things take shape.
The contemporary city , the one composed of these periphery , ought to yield a
sort of manifesto , a premature homage to a form of modernity , which when
compared to cities of the past might seem devoid of qualities but in which we
will one day recognise as many wins or losses.
