1) This project is implemented for: (Provide brief explanation)

This project is mainly targeted for the students who are having problems in their
university life. It specifically entertains questions about their personal lives in the
university. For example; stress caused by assignments/peers. It will not respond to
queries about the details about the university or modules/courses.

2) Is an expert system suitable for the problem area?

Yes it is suitable, because most university environments have many students who
undergo a lot of pressures and this is what the expert system is going to help in.

3) Is there a need for such a system? Justify.

Yes there is a need of such a system. Many students have difficulties talking to
another person directly and are confused in what to do about their situations.
Studies have shown Generation Y, which are most of the students in university
today, prefer to socialize via the internet without face-to-face interaction. Some
students are also shy and have fear they will be judged when they tell their
problems to others. This expert system acts as a medium of interaction to address
these things and then to try and resolve their problems by questioning them and
giving them solutions according to their situation based on the users inputs.

4) This is a system for intermediate (novice/intermediate/expert) level users.

This is because different people describe their problems differently, this expert system
listens to the most common general outline of each description/certain keywords. That
means users are required to know their problem before talking to the bot.
