MATHS FOOT ORIENTEERING

In the Maths Foot Orienteering competition the competitors - the teams of


four or five cooperating participants - navigate through the terrain.
Competitors must visit all the control points marked A-J and X, aided by
maps and tablets.
The control points marked A-J must be visited in alphabetical order.
The control point marked X can be visited at any time.
The control point shown on the map is clearly marked by a control flag (red and white square), and
equipped with coloured pencils.
While getting the points A-J, the competitors find the task in an appropriate file (the file names are
control point_A-J or control point_X
The competitors prove their passage with a coloured pencil on the control card.
The code to write on the control card should be: the symbol of the control point (A-J) and a result
of an appropriate calculation as in the example:

NOTE! The control symbol must be written with the coloured pencil fixed to the control point.

The maximum walking time shall be 180 min. F


For more than 180 min, the team will get -1 point for each minute, but only to 220 minutes.
For exceeding the limit of 220 min the team will get -2points for each minute above it.
The team that gets the highest score is the winner of the Maths Foot Orienteering.

A score of the team is calculated according to the following criteria:
1. Lack of one control point: ......................................................................
