------FLVPlayer was developed with the intention to fill the gap where Macromedia Flas
h MX Pro left off. Being an interactive marketing agency we do a lot of video e
ncoding, and unfortunately, there is no stand alone FLV player. That is where F
LVPlayer comes in... FLVPlayer allows FLV files to be opened in numerous ways:

The application is intentionally simple. Its sole purpose is previewing FLV fil
es and to aid in the encoding process. Hope you enjoy!

Manual
-----As discussed earlier, FLVPlayer is an intentionally simple program. For this re
ason, not much of a manual is required. Just to note there are many different w
ays to open your FLV file to begin playback. Below just summarizes them:

Technical Notes
--------------Incase anyone is wondering, FLVPlayer is a developed in C# using the Macromedia
Flash Player 7 ActiveX object to load a SWF. The SWF that is passed the path of
the FLV to play, and is responsible for the actual playback. The entire playba
ck is done using the standard MediaPlayback component that ships with Macromedia
Flash MX Pro. We started with just using a projector file and loading the file
by entering the path, but went to C# when we wanted eliminate the need to enter
the path manually.
