8 MIND-BLOWING MYTHS ABOUT RIZAL

Jose Rizal, the National Hero of the Phlippines. He is like a celebrity, his
pictures and monuments can be seen in every part of the country. In fact, he
is the face of the one peso coin. That's how popular he is. Because of his
popularity, many rumors about him were spreading. This 8 mind-blowing
myth about Rizal is hilarious as well as intriguing. Even though Im not an
anti-Rizal but I do think some of those myths are true because it somewhat
make sense. For example the myth about Rizal having his first Tagalog poem
entitled SA Akin Kabataan at a very young age. The writer said that Rizal
was too busy playing with his dog and siblings to even think of making a
poem mentioning the word Kalayaan. I can really agree with that, especially
knowing that the historians questioned its authority because the poem was
only published 10 years after Rizals dead and there is no manuscript linking
Rizal to the poem has been identified yet. One of the myths that I totally
disagree is about Rizal surviving his execution. How impossible it is that his
remains was magically turned into a white cock, he is not Jesus cause even
Jesus did not turn into a bird. Another thing is about him being Jack Ripper
and Adolf Hitlers father. Even if they say that the dates can be connected
but I think those are all coinciding. Another thing which I find really amusing
is knowing that Rizal a was not the only one who got a top grade in class, he
is with eight other classmates. Rizal was not gay, how can a guy having a lot
of girlfriends in the past be gay? And there is no proof that he is having some
relationship with guys, the only thing that they're holding on is about the I
am gay he wrote in his diary. You could not really say that hes gay because
gay could also mean bright and lively. From all those myths about him, I
can conclude that Rizal is really just a human, an ordinary Pinoy.
