History
The media dates back all the way to 1850 when the newspaper
came out.
First ever news broadcast was in 1930.
First regular scheduled television news was in 1940.

Changes in the media

Media has evolved from the telegram to the newspaper to the
radio to the television all the way to the internet.

What causes the change

Advancements in technology has lead to the change in how media
is taken and where the media is received form.

Stability in Media
News is always a stability in the media but the advancement that
has happened is no the one that was originally perceived.
We imagined this transition would be disruptive but we thought it
could be managed because the end state was clear: We would
gradually sunset the old in favor of our websites, and these
websites would be accessed almost exclusively on PC's.

How to better the media

By not having the media be controlled like it is now Those with
power and influence know that media control or influence is
crucial. we would be able to get more information that is not
biased by big companies.

Major Media Participants

The major companies are News Corporations, CBS Corporation,
Google, and Omnicom.
All these are inputted into the media we get everyday.

Who benefits in the media

This all depends on what theory you believe.
Which is referred to as mediated culture.
Mediated Culture is where media reflects and creates the culture.
