Facilitating learning: The method of currere group presentation/discussion


Target Audience: approx 30 participants of Edu 820 summer 2015 class

Goal:
This session intentions are:
1.

Introduce the 4 steps involved in the method of currere

2.

Share the personal education experience with the group illustrating the method of currere

3.

Discuss the nature of an educational experience with the class activity/sharing stories/class discussion

Participants attending this presentation will:

Be introduces to the method of currere

Familiarize themselves with the steps of the method through an example of a personal story

Apply the steps and concept of the method of currere to own educational experience using personal story

Equipment/Tools: power point presentation, projector, computer.
