Three workshops on science education were summarized:
1) A workshop on optics for TGTs in Delhi with 42 participants. Teachers were shown low-cost activities on light propagation and reflection.
2) A 2-day workshop on physics for PGTs in Delhi with 41 participants. Days focused on optics, fluid pressure, and electrostatics. Teachers participated actively.
3) A workshop in Delhi University on science communication for 70 B.Ed teachers. Teachers were trained on inquiry-based learning and had misconceptions addressed through demonstrations.

Mrs Pragya Nopany 2. Mrs Renu Mittal Mrs Renu Mittal & Mrs Pragya Nopany conducted a session on Optics for TGTs from three northern states of India. The low cost activities ranged from rectilinear propagation of light to reflection, refraction, total internal reflection, lenses and mirrors and diffraction. The teachers were enthralled and requested for more such sessions for students.

A workshop of Physics at Kendriya Vidyalaya INA was conducted for
teachers teaching at +2 level from 9 am 1:00 pm. The topic on Monday, 29th December 2014 was Optics. The activities were shown by Ms. Sutapa LahaDe and Ms. Renu Mittal. The teachers observed all the activities with keen interest and participated in the question answer session enthusiastically. There were lots of anxious moments, heated discussions and good explanations of various activities. On Dec 30th, Mrs Sutapa Laha De took up a 40 minute session on Fluid Pressure. After that Mrs Vinita Sharat & Mrs Pragya Nopany demonstrated about 20 activities on Electrostatics, Current Electricity & Electromagnetic Induction. The KV teachers participated in the discussions very actively and contributed their own ideas of variations in exhibit
