Dear Parents,
I wanted to write this letter to explain how excited I am to have an opportunity
to teach 6th grade science at Alamo Heights Middle School this year. This is
my first year teaching after a long a rewarding career in another field. I have
always had a passion to help and provide knowledge to people.
I am a life- long resident of San Antonio. I attended Alamo Heights High
School and finished my education at The University of Texas at Austin.
Science has always been a subject that I have a passion. My father and
grandfather were both surgeons and we discussed science related topics
every night over our dinner table.
We will be have a wide range of topics that we cover this year. We will also
have a the annual sixth grade science fair. It is going to be a fun and
interesting year learning together.
