The Glenshire Commons and Lake Association Board meeting covered the following topics:
The minutes from the previous meeting were read and amended to include the formation of a landscaping committee. The treasurer's report was presented and accepted. Homeowners who allow their commons grass or weeds to exceed 9 inches will receive a courtesy letter giving them 3 days to comply or face a $25 mowing charge. The landscaping committee is gathering estimates to refurbish the flower beds and will report back at the next meeting. Updates on goose nest counts and lake treatments were provided. Two houses are currently for sale. The next meeting was scheduled for July 7th at Sharon's house.

Present: Clark Ahlden, Stephanie Brown, Judy Seyb, Susan Drozdz, Sharon Hecht Recording: Judy Seyb Call to Order: Clark called the meeting to order at 6:35 pm. Minutes: minutes from the May 5, 2015 meeting were read. Sharon requested an amendment to the minutes saying a landscaping committee consisting of Sharon, Susan and Paul had been formed for the purpose of gathering estimates and information concerning maintenance and refurbishing of the flower beds. Susan motioned to accept the minutes as amended, Stephanie seconded. The minutes were accepted as amended. Treasurers report: Clark presented report as given to him by Paul. Stephanie motioned to accept the treasures report. Sharon seconded. Motion passed. Landscaping and commons: Susan will prepare a letter to notify homeowners whose commons grass or weed height exceeds 9 inches. This will be hand delivered by Sharon and Susan. In the event the homeowners are not at home to receive the letter, the letter will be mailed to them. This will be a one-time courtesy letter giving them 3 days from the delivery of the letter to bring their commons area into compliance or face a $25 mowing charge. After this one-time courtesy notice homeowners in violation will only be notified that they have been mowed and will be charged. Sharon has been in touch will several companies concerning the flower bed maintenance and refurbishing, but has not received any formal proposals yet. The landscaping committee will look at recommendations for the flower beds and report at the next board meeting. Pond Control: Paul will talk about final count of goose nests and egg count at the next meeting. Susan has not had to treat the lake as of yet. Neighbors: there are currently two houses for sale. Website: no news Scouts: no news. New Business: Stephanie will prepare a letter to send to homeowners whose lake commons areas have only a thin border of rock in order to remind them to please take care to not disturb this rock as it was put there to prevent erosion. Next meeting date: July 7, 2015 6:30 pm at Sharons house.
