    Event Ad

    Description:
    A color full-bleed event ad to promote a fundraiser using only Microsoft
    Word and a scanner.

    Date:
    May 16, 2015

    Programs/ Tools:
    Microsoft Word
    Epson Scanner
    PDF2JPG.net (PDF converter)

    Objectives:
    Find, scan and import a high-quality image.
    Create a full-bleed design
    Use text boxes for layout in Word.
    Insert and edit images in Word.

    Process:
    First I scanned the image. Then I uploaded the image into Microsoft Word,
    changed the sizing and fit the image to the draft. I then sized and resized
    so that I could place the man in the image off to the right hand side. I
    added text boxes, found fonts that I liked for the message if the Ad. I used
    alignment and contrasting fonts to refine my design.
