to improve and strengthen their ability to effectively model and facilitate technologyenhanced learning experiences. (PSC 6.2/ISTE 6c)
Reflection
This artifact is a link to my Weebly blogs that includes reflections on the ITEC courses
I've taken while in the Instructional Technology Ed.S. program. I created many these
blogs as a requirement at the end of each class. They were a great exercise that gave me
a chance to reflect of on what I had accomplished and learned in each course.
The process of blogging as a reflection on each course demonstrates my ability to
regularly evaluate and reflect on my professional practice and disposition. These
reflections have helped me to effectively model and facilitate technology-enhanced
learning experiences. As I wrote each blog post I not only focused on reflecting, I also
gave thought to what could be gleaned from my blog by my colleagues and other
education professionals. I also tried my best to write them in such a way that they would
open a topic up for conversation. I have learned throughout this program that
communication is vital to improving ones professional practice.
I have learned that the process of blogging is not just jotting down random thoughts
and sending them out to the world. It is an exercise in thought, reflection, and
exploration. I went through all of these phases in writing these posts and in doing so I
modeled the productive use of digital tools and resources and hopefully others can benefit
from them. In the future when I blog on topics I will take more time and do more
research to inform my posts. I hope to start an Instructional Technology blog that will
attract readers from at least my system and maybe beyond.
These blog posts forced me to analyze how I have been using technology to support in
my instruction. In doing so I have identified ways that I can improve my use of
technology in my classroom. Evaluating the improved use of technology in my
classroom can assess the impact of this artifact.
