Jesus Is Greater Than Death

July 19th - July 25th, 2015

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and

confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each
day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker
on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional.
At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion
and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks
Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in
the foyer of Power Source.

Jesus is more powerful than death.

Father God,

Mary and Martha had a brother named Lazarus who got very sick.
His sisters sent a message to Jesus to come. Lazarus died and they
put him in a tomb. After four days, Jesus finally arrived. Mary and
Martha were upset that He had not come sooner and healed their
brother. Jesus was touched to see them so sad. Jesus went to the
tomb and called Lazarus name. People laughed because he had
been dead for four days. All of a sudden, Lazarus came walking out
of the tomb. He was alive!!! John 11:1-45

Thank you for being the resurrection and the life. Thank
you for protecting my parents, teachers, friends and Pastor
Ron and his family. May they be strengthened with all
might by your Spirit in their inner man (Eph. 3:16). Teach
me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and
I will live a long life on the earth. Help me to tell others
about Your great love! Thank you that because of Jesus, I
am healed and whole.
