THE 1920s THEMED GARDEN PARTY raised 1,140 towards the Cobham

Church applications for Grant Aid demonstrating that the community

supports the restoration project. Thank you so much to the village,
friends and family, the singer and dancers, cooks and washers up.
12.9.15. SPONSORED FRIENDS OF KENT CHURCHES BIKE RIDE AND
HERITAGE OPEN DAY. The Churchroom will be open from 9.00 5.00.
Rosemary Dymond will be attempting to match her usual marathon around
Kent to raise money for our three churches. Please be generous in
supporting her fantastic endeavour.
SAFARI DINNER ON 26th SEPTEMBER, 2015
Linda and Ron Chamberlain are arranging a Safari Dinner fund raising
event on our behalf.
This is an opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal, meet friends and
neighbours and make a contribution towards the renovation of St. Marys
Churchroom.
The evening will begin at 7.00 pm when we meet together for an aperitif.
You will be given three sealed envelopes that contain details of where you
will eat your meal. (For one course you will be the host or hostess, for
the other two courses you will be the guest(s). Each course will be eaten
at a different house, with a different group of people, and we will all
meet together again for coffee at the end of the evening.
You will be asked to provide one course, plus a glass of wine or soft drink
for up to eight people, including yourself. There is no need to prepare
anything elaborate or complicated, keep it simple! Unfortunately, it is not
possible to request a particular course as this will depend partly on
geographical location, but also on the number of people taking part, (so
that you meet new people each time.)
Participation cost 10 per head (cheque payable to Tin Tabernacle
Community Fund).

A plan for the evening, and details of your course will be sent to you by
Friday, 18th September.
Please complete the form below and return it to Ron and Linda at
Wildacre, Sole Street, (opposite The Railway Inn) by Friday, 10th
September as the schedule takes an age to work out latecomers would
mean that they would have to do the whole complicate plan again.
Ron and Linda hope that you will be able to join them. Please get in touch
if you would like more information: 01474 814560 or
