Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,

Hello from Pine River Elementary School and welcome to fourth grade! I hope that all of you are having a
magnificent summer. It wont be long now before we are back to school.

Now is a great time to let you know the school supplies that we will be using in class. I have listed the supplies
and some general information on the back of this letter. Also, this information (and MUCH more) can be
found on our classroom website at www.johnsond.weebly.com.

Our back-to-school open house will take place soon. Please check for the date and time on the enclosed letter
from the principal. During our open house, parents/guardians and students will have the opportunity to meet
the staff and tour the building. Students are welcome to bring their school supplies to the open house or on
the first day of school. Also, parent information packets and sign-up sheets for our classroom holiday parties
will be available. I hope that everyone can attend.
School will begin on Tuesday, September 8th. Students may enter the classroom (room 12) at 8:40. The first
day of school will be a full day. Please note that we may have physical education class that day, so the children
will need to have their gym shoes. School will dismiss at 3:35.
I hope to see all of you at our upcoming open house! Enjoy the rest of the summer!

Sincerely,
Deneal Johnson
