Suggestions for Future workshops:

-speaking activities scaffolded to help those who are not quite ready for AP
-more classroom ideas and activities
-even though I know the AP Exam is different this year, I felt that taking the exam
used too much time and I wish we had had more time to do the activities we were
doing at the end of the day
-more time for best practices sharing
-taking the test was not useful for me
-more already-prepared technology tools, especially those available on the internet
-spent too much time in the morning session taking the exam; the afternoon session
was most helpful for me; need more activities for participants to interact and share
best practices for improvement
-how to organize by themes
-strategies for addressing the vague culture element of the exam
-how do we get the lower levels of language classes involved in the success of AP
Classes
-learning styles
-as a new AP teacher, I would like to have an idea of what a day to day experience
is like in the successful AP Spanish classroom
-more reading strategies

This workshop was a great experience. The materials and activities

planned were appropriate for teachers who attended. The participants were
very happy with the presentation and they feel they can apply the strategies
shared with them in their own classrooms.
Teachers appreciated the organization while presenting the topic. They
think they have increased their knowledge. Some teachers also suggested to
have scaffolded speaking activities to help students. This topic is

interesting since this is the most difficult skill to develop in the students. In
the future, I will have more technology tools listed for the teachers and I will
give them the opportunity to use it during the workshop.
In the next workshop I will have more specifics about what a day to day
is like in the successful classroom using technology. Although the material
was well organized, it needs to be simplified for all the teachers who are
having difficulties with the technology.
