    A terrible fire last week razed several wooden houses in a village to the ground, leaving many villagers homeless. The fire started in one house and quickly engulfed the entire village in flames and smoke. Neighboring villagers worked to prevent the fire from spreading by pouring water on nearby houses, while shouting warnings to ensure all residents could escape the dangerous flames. Though they fought hard, by the time the fire was contained several houses had already been destroyed. The affected villagers were given shelter in a local multipurpose hall, and they were grateful for the support of neighbors and relatives who brought them food and aid despite their great losses.
