Description of Proposed Activity:
I volunteer at a community classical music radio station and there I do the editing for digital radio. I am also working with another girl from another school to program some morning radio programs. After this I may have an opportunity to learn how to present on air as well. Proposed Activity Supervisor: Janine Burrus, intern coordinator What challenges and/or new skills will this activity provide? New skills: Learning how to operate radio equipment, learning how to operate digital equipment, Learning about new music due to the programming. Challenges: Speaking slowly and clearly, suitable for on air. What do you want to achieve from your participation in this activity? More confidence and eloquence in speaking, exposure to new types of music. What evidence could be appropriate for this activity?
