    Book fairs were never a big thing in my house. I always envied kids who could purchase
    books at book fairs because the books looked so enticing. My mother usually would say, If you
    want to get a book so bad, then go to the public library or go to Barnes and Noble to get it.
    Usually I wouldnt, but on the rare occasions I did, I truly was glad I made the decision. It
    always took a little bit of tugging at my arm to get me to read, but once I did, I was a reader
    through and through. I would spend hours at the public library reading books like The Magic
    Treehouse, Harry Potter, Eragon, and many more titles.
