You are advised to spend 45 minutes on this section.
Question 1
Your best friend and his family are going for a ten-day holiday overseas for the first time. He has
written to you for some tips on the preparations for the holiday since he knows that you are a
very experienced traveller.
Use all the points given below to write a letter
-passport requirements
-do some reading up on the places you want to visit
-travel light
-for security, carry travellers cheques and credit cards
-check doors, windows
-unplug electrical appliances
-turn off the refrigerator before leaving home
-cancel your newspaper delivery
-ask neighbours to collect your mails
-ask them to keep an eye
-leave your contact number
-inform the police
