Bradshaw discusses one of the toughest decisions he ever had to make - quitting soccer after playing for 12 years. He contemplated quitting many times over the years but always returned to the game he loved. However, in his senior year of high school he decided to stop playing soccer in order to prioritize making good grades to get into the right college, as soccer no longer fit into his schedule due to starting a new job, volunteering, and an increased class workload.

UWRT 1103 Professor Raymond 24 July 2015 Week Four: Daily Writings #14 One of the toughest decisions Ive ever had to make has to be my decision to quit soccer. Over the years at many times I contemplated quitting soccer, but I always had to make a return to the game I loved. I played soccer for 12 years before I made the decision to stop playing and it definitely took a toll on my psyche. The reasoning behind my decision was managing my priorities. My senior year the only priority was to make good grades and get into the right college for me, and soccer did not fit into the schedule. I was starting a job at Harris Teeter when I made this decision, working several volunteer jobs, and handling an extra workload to ensure my acceptance into my choice college.
