URGENT No.33-6/2015-NDM-I Government of India Ministry of Home Affairs (Disaster Management Division) C Wing, 3rd Floor, NDCC-II Jai Singh Road, New Delhi Dated 18" May, 2015 Office Memorandum To Relief Commissioners of all the States Subject: Online availiability of State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) balance Sir, The Government of India has constituted SDRF in each State for providing immediate relief to the victims of notified natural disasters. In case of severe disasters, the Government of India provides additional financial assistance from National Disaster Response Fund, provided the State does not have adequate balance in SDRF. In order to assess the requirement of additional fund from NDRF, the information on balance available in the SDRF of any State is vital. 2. At present, the State Governments provides utilisation certificate twice in a year. The utilisation certificates contain balance SDRF position as on 30" September and 31% March of each financial year. Further, the State Governments provide the information on as and when basis. 3. The matter has been considered in the Ministry and it has been decided to get the SDRF balance position from the State Governments on weekly basis through an online system. Each State Government is required to furnish the unspent balance at State level and district levels on each Friday. The information is required to be uploaded in “SDRF Management Information System” available on MHA website (www.mha.nic.in) and Disaster Management division website(www.ndmindia.nic.in). This tab i.e “SORF -Management Information System” can be easily seen under “What’s New” scrolling. The url of the tab is http://mhatnic.in/sdrf/login.aspx. The user name and default password for the State and Districts are enclosed. The password can be easily modified after entering into the system. 4, It is requested to direct the concerned officers to upload the desired information in the above mentioned url on weekly basis (on each Friday).
