To whom it may concern,
This letter is to inform you of my interest in the Girls Assistant Soccer Coach position
currently available with WHS. As you may know, Im an alumni of WHS and helped to organize
the Girls JV/VAR soccer teams in 2012. I also had the honor of acting as captain of the varsity
team my junior and senior year.
An aspect you may not be aware of is that I have played the game of soccer since I was
five years old primarily through the Muncie Recreation Program. Ive not only been privileged
to attend numerous soccer training camps at Anderson University but was also selected for the
East/West All Star teams two years in a row. Recently, I also became certified to referee
elementary as well as high school soccer games and tournaments.
Considering my past experience, I believe I would be an excellent choice for this
position. The game of soccer has become a source of joy and satisfaction to me and I look
forward to instilling the love of the game with these teams. As the game itself continues to
become more popular, it is important that schools such as WHS have coaches that love the game
as well as possess the ability to teach the required skills needed to be successful in the game.
Based on the requirements listed for this position, I feel that I would be an excellent
candidate and am excited about the possibility of working with these girls. Please review my
