Course format:
The course consists of eight weeks of video lectures. There are in-video quizzes in the first two weeks that
are not part of the assessment. Week 2 concludes with a multiple-choice quiz that is part of the
assessment. Weeks 3 through 8 have one homework assignment each, for which students write MATLAB
programs. The programs for the final homework assignment are due at the end of the ninth week.

Grading policy:
Here is how the final grade for the course will be calculated:The quiz at the end of Week 2 and the
homework assignments for Weeks 3 through 8 are weighted equally. Students are allowed multiple
submissions before the deadline, but only the last best one will count. The deadline for each assignment is
firm. There will be no partial credit for late submissions. A passing grade is 67%.
