WORK
HISTORY

V.M. ADAMS ELEMENTARY

Harlandale Independent School District
2013-2014

During the 2013-2014 academic school year, I taught 1st

grade dual language students. My dual language class was
composed of approximately half native Spanish speakers and
half native English speakers. During this school year I was
able to teach some of my students to blend in order to guide
them to read, while helping others advance their reading
fluency and comprehension.
2014-2015
During the 2014-2015 academic school year, I taught 2nd
grade dual language students. I was fortunate to have the
opportunity to loop with my students from first grade.
Therefore, I had almost all of the same students from the
year before. This was a great experience, as I already knew
the individual levels in which they left off at and was able to
get build on our previous relationship.
