AN ACT Relating to: The allocation of $2,651.24 (two-thousand, six-hundred and fifty-one
dollars and twenty-four cents) from the Student Events Pool (6272-0200-03) for KOUG-Aid
2007. Friday, November 9th, 8pm- midnight.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE ASWSUV SENATE:

STATEMENT OF FACT: Advertisements will read “Co-sponsored by ASWSUV” in 14-point


font or font equal to the average size lettering on the advertisement, for all advertising for
the event(s) as required by ASWSUV By-Laws (260.12).
KOUG-Aid 2007 is acting as the main fundraising event for KOUG Radio. It is the hope of
KOUG that this event will both promote the radio station, and raise funds to purchase much
needed equipment, allowing KOUG to be of better service to the students and organizations of
WSUV. KOUG has already had $12,000 worth of goods and services donated for this event.
KOUG is working with Music Millennium Portland, The Oregonian, The Columbian, CMJ
Magazine, 94.7 Alternative Portland, Clark College Events Staff, ASCC, Clark County, and
several local businesses to make this event a success and a great reflection on WSUV. Four local
bands have agreed to play for free, and the cover charge for the evening will be $10, or $8 for
students who are members of a campus club or organization of WSUV- all proceeds will benefit
KOUG. This event is open to the public, students and alumni of WSUV.
