ASWSUV Seventeenth Senate 2007-08 Session

AN ACT Amending By-law {Section 1020.00 Club Funding Sub- Section 1020.01}

BE IT ENACTED BY THE ASWSUV SENATE:

Sec. 1. That Section 1020.01 reads as such: Clubs are considered financially autonomous,
raising their own funds through dues and fund-raisers.

Sec. 2. Be changed to read as such: Clubs are considered financially autonomous, raising
their own funds through dues and fund-raisers. New clubs or clubs that have been inactive for
two years or longer may request start up funds via the RSO director.

This change is being implemented to facilitate Student Governments plan to set up new clubs
with seed money to help them get started.
