My strength and weaknesses in academic writing

Check

Everyone has strength and weaknesses in every areas. It is crucial to acknowledge

our strength and work it to our advantage. However, it is even more important to
discover and examine our weaknesses. By knowing what our weakness are, will
then we be able to know how to improve as a whole in what are doing. The same
goes for academic writing, I have a very poor and short vocabulary list whereby I am
very limited with the words I can use or know, But I make do with my strength :
memorising and understanding. In order to write well, or to not fail an academic write
up, it is vital not to make many mistakes to be penalised for. What I did was to brush
up on the English language rules so that I do not commit mistakes which includes
verb form, subject verb agreement as much as possible. Furthermore, I have turned
a weakness into my strength, which I have learnt to start planning for my write ups.
By doing so, my points in my essays are more organise and coherent, which had
aided me in being able to bring my ideas to my readers well. Through ES1102, I
have learnt aplenty ranging from doing proper APA referencing to organising my
essays. Definitely, this is a module which I had enjoyed.
