To the best of my knowledge, the above animal is in good condition and
health. If the animal should become ill, the buyer must take said animal
to a veterinarian within 48 hours. If the veterinarian finds the animal to
be of poor health, the same veterinarians report stating health problem
must be submitted with this contract for a full refund within 48 hours of
purchase.
REFUNDS: Feather and Scale Farm reserves the right to retain any animal from any
pairing at any time for any reason. If a kid from a pairing becomes unavailable in
this fashion, all money will be refunded to the buyer OR buyer may reserve/buy
another goat with said funds. Feather and Scale Farm reserves the right to refuse
sale to anyone for any reason.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. All animals will be healthy upon leaving our farm to the
best of our knowledge. We cannot be responsible for an animal once it leaves our
farm. It is in the buyers best interest to have their goat vet checked.
Please be aware moving to a new location is extremely stressful, especially for a
young goat. Please be sure to transition over to new feed slowly with the feed that
will be provided to you. A day or two of probiotics may also assist with avoiding an

upset rumen. Stress can also trigger elevated internal parasite levels, so monitor
your new goat closely in case of parasite bloom due to stress.
RE-SALE -If you decide to re-sell the animal you have purchased from us, please
contact Feather and Scale Farm for right of first refusal.
NO GUARANTEES: Size, production, future heath, scurs, show quality and looks
cannot and will not be guaranteed. We do our best to match good genetics at
Feather and Scale Farm but we are dealing with nature and sometimes the outcome
does not match our intentions.
GOAT REGISTRATIONS AND REGISTRATION APPLICATIONS PAPERS: Each
goat that is sold as registered will be sold with registration or registration
application papers. The buyer will need to pay fees for the registration transfer or
application. Some goats are double registered (ADGA and AGS). For those
purchasing double registered goats, different fees will apply. Goats that are already
registered cannot have their names changed
MAINTANANCE: All kids will be dis-budded and tattooed, and wethers will be
castrated before leaving. If goats are over 4 weeks old, they will also have CD&T
vaccination, hoof trimming, and coccidia preventative treatment.
