ABC company wants to start the manufacturing of nitrobenzene. The plant may be
assumed to operate 330 days per year.
The objectives are as follows:
1. Literature search regarding properties, uses and applications and different
methods of production of nitrobenzene
2. Market demand of Nitrobenzene
3. Selection of one of the method of production based on comparision
4. Decide the plant capacity
5. To determine the flowrates and composition of streams, raw material
requirement in the process (mass balance)
6. To determine the energy requirement (energy balance)
7. Block flow diagram and process flow diagram

Group 2- Roll No. 6-10

The importance of control valve goes on increasing in modern manufacturing
industries all over the world. The valve is also called as final control element
because the control valve assembly is where process control is implemented. You
want to study the vital information or procedure for control valve sizing and
selection.
The objectives are as follows:
1.
2.
3.
4.

Different types of valves and its construction and working

Study of control valve, its components and control valve charactristics
Selection of control valve
Control valve sizing
