8 Science - Complex Machine Assignment


In science 8 we discussed six different simple machines. Then, we discovered that these
simple machines could be combined to create complex machines. Your task is to select a
complex machine of your choice and highlight various features of this machine.

Your task is to create a brochure/pamphlet about the machine you chose. This pamphlet
should be designed for the purpose of selling this machine, and should include the
following information:

Machine name.
Purpose(s) of the machine.
Simple machines found within the complex machine.
Any subsystems (and their purpose) contained within the machine.
Simple machines found within this complex machine. (A description of how they
are used is needed.
Benefits of using the machine.
Different models available (provide 2-3)
Images
Gears (if any)


You will have the remainder of class on March 11th, and the full class on March 12th to
complete this assignment. This assignment is due March 13th.
