Checklist for the client

SPONSOR/HOST:
1. Relationship with the host: Birth certificate, educational certificate,
Marriage certificate of the sponsor, copy of the Passport or any documents
which can prove the relationship between the host and applicant.
2. Hosts size of the family: Birth certificate and marriage certificate of the
family residing with the host in a house hold.
3. Hosts financial standing: Recent Notice of assessment or Option-C
print out or Latest pay stubs and job offer to prove the host has the sufficient
income to support the applicants visit.
4. Hosts Bank Statement: Bank statement or letter from the bank stating
the funds available.
5. Hosts employment history: Job Letter and the paystubs or if you are self
employed then proof of business e.g. Business licence, Certificate of
Incorporation etc.
6. Letter of Invitation/and/or Statutory Declaration (affidavit) of
support.
7. Letter of Acknowledgement from CPC Mississauga. (If applicable)
8. Purpose of visit: for example If celebrating birthday or marriage then
letter from the hall and/or invitation cards etc.
9. Proof of resident status of the host in Canada: Telephone bills, job
letter, hydro bills, pay stubs, bank or credit card statements or any document
which can prove that the host resides in Canada.
10. Prove of the insurance for the applicant.

APPLICANT/VISITOR:
1. Purpose of Visit and duration of visit.
2. Applicants financial standing: Income tax returns for past two years or
any other proof on income.
3. Applicants employment or business experience: A letter from the
employer confirming salary and length of employment or Business license.
4. Applicants travel history: Photocopies of the pages showing the travel
outside the home country.
5. Applicants Ties with home country: Property Ties and Family Ties i.e.
Property papers and/or birth certificate of the family members residing or
dependent on the applicant in their respective home country.
6. Proof of personal Funds: Bank statements for three months or fixed
deposits etc.
7. Copy of current Passport of the applicant and the accompany family
members
8. Two passport size photographs (2 inches x 1.5 to 2 inches in size with
white background).
10. Applicant size of the Family: Marriage certificate and the birth
certificate of the children or relationship of the individual living in the
applicants house hold.
11. Medical examination of the applicant: As per the instructions from the
designated doctor
