ABSTRAK
Dalam perhitungan gaji pada Dinas Penanaman Modal Daerah Kota Palembang
memang telah terkomputerisasi namun belum efektif, dikarenakan Dinas Penenman
Modal Daerah Kota Palembang masih menggunakan FoxPro. Penggunaan program ini
tidak efektif karena setiap kali penggunaannya masih harus memasukkan perintah sintak,
hal ini kurang membantu didalam proses perhitungan gaji pegawai. Untuk mengatasi hal
tersebut penulis membuat suatu aplikasi perhitungan gaji. Metode pengembangan aplikasi
yang penulis gunakan terdiri dari beberapa tahap analisis, tahap pengumpulan data, tahap
desain, dan tahap pengujian. Tahap desain meliputi perancangan file, desain input, desain
output. Setelah menerapkan semua perancangan aplikasi ke dalam bahasa pemrograman
C++ Builder 6.0, maka hasil yang didapat adalah aplikasi perhitungan gaji pegawai Dinas
Penanaman Modal Daerah Kota Palembang.

ABSTRACT
In the process of salary accounting at the Palembang Municiple of investment service,
has been computerized so far but, not effective yet. Because the institution is still using
FoxPro program the antire data must be input one by one. Such system is less helpful in
the process of the salary payment accounting. Because, when inputing the data one the
mistakes occure very often. To overcome such problem the writer has arranged a system
of the salary accounting application. The methode of developing system applied by the
writer concists of several stages. They are data accumulating, designing and testing. On
the stage of designing system includes files planning, design input and design output.
After implementing all application planning into the term of program C++ Builder
version 6.0, it would be obtained the salary accounting system. By using this system, it is
expected to be helpful to the Department of financial. Especially in the process of salary
accounting application at the region investment of Palembang Municiple.
