    Marjory decorated the room for a lavender tea with items she collected in Canada. Mandy provided amazing lavender-themed cakes, cupcakes, biscuits, and shortbread. Lunch was also popular, especially Alastair's homemade soup. The day concluded with singing along to Lonnie Donegan and dancing led by Peter. Paulo produced a stunning button picture of lavender fronds during the craft hour. The group was pleased to hear that their minister Joe was improving after his operation and looked forward to his return.

    AND SOCIAL CLUB

    Thank you to Marjory for decorating our room for the lavender
    tea. Marjory starting collecting for the day when she visited
    Canada. The ladies all received beautiful lavender bags and the
    men sugared almonds. Mandy provided some amazing cup
    cakes with edible pansies, Chardonnay and raspberry cake with
    cream, lavender shortbread and biscuits with lavender icing.

    We were delighted to hear that our Minister, Joe, is improving
    following his operation. He was pleased to receive our get well card
    and the small gift that we had sent him. We continue to remember
    Joe in our prayers and look forward to seeing him soon again.
