CONSULTANCY SERVICES
FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRADE AND TRANSPORT FACILITATION
FRAMEWORK
1. The African Development Bank now invites Individual Consultants to express their
interests for the development of the Banks Trade and Transport Development
Framework.
2. To scale up the implementation of the trade and transport facilitation measures
envisaged in the Regional Integration Policy and Strategy (2014-2023), the Bank
wishes to develop a Trade and Transport Facilitation Framework (TTFF). The TTFF
would underpin the Banks approach and interventions on all trade and transport
facilitation matters. The TTFF would provide strategic focus and emphasis the Banks
approach on soft infrastructure issues relating to trade and transport. The assignment
includes the development of guidelines that would facilitate the mainstreaming and
coordination of trade and transport issues with internal sector department clients.
3. The Banks NEPAD Regional Integration and Trade Department (ONRI) invites
interested Individual Consultants to submit their interests in providing the services
described above. Interested Individual Consultants must provide information indicating
that they are qualified to perform the said services (brochures, description of similar
assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among
staff, etc.).
4. The eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall
be in accordance with the African Development Banks Rules and Procedures for the
use of Consultants for consultancies financed under the African Development Bank,
window, edition 2008, revised on July 2012 which is available on the Banks website at
http://www.afdb.org.
5. The duration of the assignment is estimated at 6 months, subject to renewal and the
commencement date is planned for May 2015.
6. Interested Individual Consultants may obtain further information at the address below
during office hours i.e. 08:30-17:00hrs, local time (in Cte dIvoire).
7. Expressions of interest must be delivered through e-mail or the address below in
English by 12:00 noon local Cte dIvoire on Friday, 17 April 2015 under the heading
Trade and Transport Facilitation Framework.
