BANGOR MISSION UPDATE

Hi there.

Thought I’d just send out a brief update of how things went last
week. Thank you so much for your prayers, please
continue to pray. The students and local churches prayed
hard for the week and we were privileged to see real answers!

Each day we were out and about on campus asking

questions of students, like: Who is Jesus? Has science buried
God? What is life all about? What’s the point of love? What sort
of a god can allow suffering? We are constantly fighting against
apathy and lazy secularism, encouraging ourselves and others
to actually use that amazing organ God has put between our
ears!

We had several other events in the evenings. I’ll share two

highlights for you encouragement.

On the Tuesday night we hosted a Chinese New Year party

for international students. Loads came, and from all different
nations – we had to get extra chairs, tables, food & cutlery! We
were able to serve them and talk about what Jesus means to us.

On the Thursday night we were able to clearly present the good

news of Jesus Christ our Rescuer to a room packed with CU
members and their unbelieving friends! This involved a video,
moving testimonies of God’s work in two of our students’ lives, a uccf:thechristianunions
