Assessment Taxonomy Table Template - Cyndy Koons

Review the objectives and activities from a module in your own (current or future) online
course. Then select three or four objectives and decide where they and their activities belong
in Blooms categories. It is not necessary to have all objectives in different categories, but
please use at least three different levels.
This type of analysis will not only help you develop your course assessment plans but will also
help you decide which assessment activities are most valuable.

After viewing the instructional DVD and


reading the assigned readings, the dental
hygiene student will demonstrate the various
types of extraoral and intraoral palpation, by
using Animato, at 75% on the rubric.
After completing the reading assignments and
practicing the description of lesions presented in
the PowerPoint, the dental hygiene student will
document lesions, and using Survey Monkey
Quiz, select correct sequential documentation in
compliance with the Oral Pathology
Association's method for lesion documentation,
at 75% on the rubric.
After reviewing given Social/Medical/
Dental Histories, the dental hygiene student will
evaluate the histories and describe possible oral
manifestations that result due to the diseases,
conditions, or medications, and complete a
crossword puzzle that has been created on Study
Mate by Respondus, at 75% on rubric.
After reading the assigned chapter the dental
hygiene student will create a jeopardy game that
utilizes the new terminology learned in the
Preliminary Diagnosis Module at 75% on the
rubric.
