Gateway
is a place

and pathway to new beginnings


with opportunities to learn

you please
you can relax and feel at ease
you can get involved in activities
you can make connections with
other people living locally

you can meet like minded people and peers
(people who have experience of mental health
issues and emotional distress)
you can develop and grow
you can be inspired and get creative
you can give and receive peer support
you can talk over problems
you can share experiences and hope
youll definitely want to get out of the house
for!

Keep drop-in neat and tidy
Join Gateways Groups: Newsletter,
Decorating, Advisory Committee
Support other members
Provide a listening ear, be there if
someone needs to talk
Share your knowledge and skills
Start a hobby group e.g. a cinema group

Confidentiality in Gateway:
Your confidentiality is important. We do not
discuss members with anyone including your
family, medical team or other members.
However there might be times when we might
need to breach confidentiality but only in the
following instances:
If you tell us that you will harm yourself or
another person.
If we become aware a child is at risk, we
have a statutory obligation to notify child
protection services.
If we need to breach confidentiality, we will
include and support you during this.
