August 16-August 22

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and

confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each
day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker
on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional.
At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion
and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks
Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in
the foyer of Power Source.

Jesus died on the cross and rose again from the dead.

Father God,

Some people didnt like Jesus. They didnt believe He

was Gods Son. They wanted Jesus to die. Some soldiers
nailed Him to a cross. Jesus friends were sad. They put
His body in a tomb and put a big stone in front of it. On
the third day, Mary went to the tomb, but instead of
Jesus body, she met an angel. The angel said Jesus was
not dead, but alive!!! Hallelujah!! Matthew 27 - 28

I worship you and praise your holy name. Thank you for
protecting my parents, teachers, friends and Pastor Ron
and his family. May they be strengthened with all might
by your Spirit in their inner man (Eph. 3:16). Teach me to
obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will
live a long life on the earth (Eph. 6:2-3). Help me to tell
others about Your great love! Thank you that because of
Jesus, I am healed and whole.
