Discussion Questions

1. Why did Jesus come to Saul directly? Why not send an apostle just
as God sent Philip to the Ethiopian? (Read Acts 26: 9-11)

2. Why does Jesus ask Saul why do you persecute me? if Christ
had already been persecuted and crucified? (John 15:18-25 & 1
Corinthians 12:12-13)

As believers, what should be our response to those who persecute

us? (Read Matthew 5:44) Would you be able to earnestly pray for a
man whose sole purpose was to arrest and execute you? Explain.

3. Ananias called Saul brother. Why would he have the courage to

call this man brother? Have these men even seen one another
before?

4. What evidence in the text do we have that Saul was ready for

baptism as soon as he regained his sight? (Read Acts 22:10).

What was Saul doing while waiting for Ananias?

5. How was what happened to Saul, in many ways, what happened to

you and I? (Write down any scripture that comes to mind.)
