A DAY IN THE LIFE . . .

LEARNING GOAL:

To create and communicate a day in the life of a character alone onstage using only mime.
Your job is to choose or create a character that is CLEAR and SPECIFIC. You will then create a three
to five minute mime piece that shows the highlights of a day in their life create their world and
MAKE IT COME TO LIFE!!!
Make sure your story has a clear GENRE and rises to a climax. Choose appropriate and awesome music.
You will need to hand in a detailed mime script before your final performance.
You will work with a partner who will act as your DRAMATURG, or coach. This person will be chosen
by Mr. Furmaniuk, and will offer feedback on your choice of character and performances in rehearsal.
You will also act as your partners DRAMATURG.
